Q. This is my first year to apply for Spring Scream. What are you looking for in our application?
A. spring Scream wants to support bands by giving you a place to play and an audience to watch it, so we are encouraging bands to find ways to find an audience and share your music with them. We want to see that you have a working presence on the internet via myspace, streetvoice, blogs, vlogs, youtube and as many other ways as possible, so we will want to see these links and share them with Spring Scream fans.
We want to hear your best original music copositions in the form of demo songs. So make them available on the internet for download. We suggest you choose the best recordings of 2 songs, 1) a song you feel represents the best of your abillities, and the style of music you love to make and 2) the song most of your friends and fans like (your most popular song).
We want to see your own style and flavor, both live show and edited music video (MV), so include the links to your 2 best videos (one song each) so we can see how you look when you are on stage, and what kind of an MV you can make to show case your song. These songs can be the same as the demo songs. We ask for this to help you to appeal to as many people as possible.
